The fare starts at 349 pounds per 1.5 hours (INR 33,485). That is indeed a steep pricing but you do get to amble around in a swanky Italian automobile that costs 198,000 pounds (around INR 1.90 crores). The car is expected to be hired by customers who are looking to arrive at a social gathering in style.
The car hire firm previously used a Gallardo for special occasions and also has a fleet of London Taxis and double decker busses. The firm would be hoping that its latest acquisition will become the most sought-after option in due course.
The Lamborghini Huracan which took the baton from the immensely popular Gallardo is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 naturally aspirated petrol engine that is shared with the Audi R8. The high-performance motor pushes out 610 PS and 560 Nm of torque. Mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission which distributes drive to all the four wheels, the motor is capable of catapulting the Huracan from rest to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds. Top speed stands at 325 kmph.
