Nissan has had plans to launch the GT-R in India for some years now. But the ‘Godzilla’ has somehow managed to stay away from our country. Compared to the old GT-R, the new one is more sharper, refined and powerful.

It gets an updated exterior with new V-motion grille in matte chrome finish in the front, larger mesh for improved cooling, and a stronger bonnet. On the sides and rear, there are noticeable design lines which give the GT-R an even aggressive stance. It also gets a new Titanium exhaust system.

On the inside, updated Nissan GT-R gets Nappa leather on instrument panel, revised front seat design, reduced switches (from 27 to just 11), and a larger 8 inch touchscreen. Powering the new GT-R is the old faithful, 3.8 liter V6 bi-turbo which now generates 20 hp more than before, deliver a total of 565 hp and 467 lb.-ft. (4 lb.-ft. more than before).
