Salman Khan's Kick may have got the initial appreciation. And his fans may be superthrilled with the box office report. However, the remake hasn't pleased Surender Reddy one bit.
It's a known fact that Reddy was the maker of the Telugu original Kick which starred Ravi Teja and Illeana D Cruz in the lead roles. The Hindi version features Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mithun Chakraborty and Saurabh Shukla in important roles.
After watching the Hindi remake, director Surender Reddy expressed displeasure saying: "Watched the Hindi remake of 'Kick'. It definitely does not do justice to our original movie or to Salman. 'Kick' would have been the biggest movie ever for Salman if the makers understood the spirit of 'Kick'."
We couldn't agree more for the comic timing that Ravi Teja has nobody can match! Whatsay?
