ANR didn't die of cancer?

Legendary Telugu actor, Nata Samrat Akkineni Nageshwara Rao who died in Hyderabad last week did not die of cancer, it is learnt.

This information was revealed by none other than his daughter Naga Susheela who told the media that the reports suggesting that Akkineni died unable to battle cancer anymore are baseless and false.

Susheela said the senior actor breathed his last after being hit by a cardiac arrest in the early hours of Wednesday last while maintaining what her brother Nagarjuna had said: 'that ANR was hale and healthy the night before his death.'

ANR's daughter said that the veteran actor suffered chest pain and experienced severe bouts of vomiting which caused his death.

Megastar Chiranjeevi, Victory Venkatesh and Yuva Samrat Nagarjuna are contemporaries. All the three started off their careers almost around the same time and had cut-throat competition amongst themselves.

Nagarjuna married Venkatesh's sister. The duo later had a fallout after Akkineni Nagarjuna separated from his wife. Naga Chaitanya is a son from Nag's first marriage. Now, this is no news. What was heartening was to watch both Chiru and Venky to let bygone be bygone and stand by the actor when Akkineni Nageshwara Rao passed away recently.
