Puri Jagannadh: Everybody Loves Ali, Ali Baba Okkade Donga. The disc function of Ali-starrer ‘Ali Baba Okkade Donga’ was held in Hyderabad recently. The event was graced by the actor’s close associates such as VV Vinayak, Puri Jagannadh and Naresh among others.

Speaking about Ali, Puri said that he was five-years-old when his first film released. “I remember having a sight of him by travelling 50 kms from my village and from then he has been a part of my life. I always ensured that he features in my films. He is a darling and is loved by everyone,” said Puri.
“If EVV Satyanarayana garu planted the seed called Ali, it is SV Krishna Reddy who ensured that it gets the required nutrients”, smiled Ali and added, “Directors like Puri Jagannadh and Rajamouli have gave me roles that helped my career to grow. I‘m indebted to them.”
