Balayya's Legend: Fans’ ruckus at Anantpur's Gurunath theatre

Idol worship is synonymous with India. At times, movie fans are such fanatics that they get down to any level to prove their loyalty to their favourite actor.

A theatre in Anantapur got a taste of this when their audio system failed to function properly.

As per reports doing the rounds, Gurunath theatre was showing Nandamuri Balakrishna's Legend. The audience had a problem following the dialogues as there was some kind of a distraction. They howled to bring this to the notice of theatre operators, in vain.

Furious over the apathy, the fans broke chairs and ripped off screen and seat covers to show their anger.

The theatre owners have registered a complaint with the police and sought action against those responsible for destroying their property.
