Inspired by Vamsi’s filmmaking

Actors Koushik of ‘Jagadguru Adi Sankara’ fame and Harish of ‘Prema Ishq Kaadhal’ fame are playing the lead roles in ‘Tholi Sandhya Velalo’, a romantic entertainer set in the picturesque locales of East Godavari. Helmed by Mohan Dikshit who earlier assisted Vamsi and Meher Ramesh, the film is on the verge of completion; only six days of shooting in Hyderabad is left. “It has a typical Vamsi flavour to it. While Koushik plays a soft lover boy, Harish will be seen as a rustic village Casanova. Rao Ramesh is playing a novel role,” said the director. Koushik said that they are remixing ‘Oo Jabili’ number from Krishnam Raju’s ‘Rangoon Rowdy’ for the film. A production of Narendra and Dilip, the film also stars Krishnudu in a key role, while Ashwini, a debutante, is playing the female lead.
