Kochadaiyaan Tamil movie review

The much awaited Tamil movie Kochadaiyaan starring the real Indian superstar Rajinikanth hit theatres on Friday after much postponement.

• Kochadaiiyaan, a magnum opus made in a 3D format with Rajini playing the animated warrior
• The film stars Rajini in three lead roles
• The Tamil motion capture is 3D computer-animated period film
• The Rajini magic is made in a la Hollywood standards, showcasing some top notch VFX of the present times
• The post-production work of the film was carried out at Faceware technologies in the United Kingdom, the United States, Hong Kong, and China.
• The film will be simultaneously released in other languages too including Hindi, Japanese, Telugu, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi and English
• The female lead in the movie was to be played by Anushka Shetty or Katrina Kaif. However, their lack of dates made the offer fall in Deepika's lap
• It is reported that Deepika was paid Rs 3 crore for shooting her portions that lasted only a few days
• Savitha Reddy has dubbed for Deepika in the Tamil version of the film
• Watch out for late comedy actor Nagesh in the film who has been recreated in the film
