The second edition of Blenders pride Pune style week 2014 witnessed top designers from Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and New York setting new trends in Pune. The extravaganza created a bridge between talented designers and the huge popularity of festive wear amongst consumers in India and all over the world.
Bollywood ace choreographer Sandip Soparrkar walked as showstopper at he Grand Finale for designer Sanjana Jon, an internationally acclaimed designer from New York who is often known for her belief in a cause. Her collection was dedicated to the fight against terrorism in India with a lot of colors as a tribute to the colourful and positive country that is India. Bringing a blend and balance of the East and West was a huge part of this beautiful collection. From the cuts of the west to the flow of the East, the entire style of the collection represented the bright and positive nature of the country.
Celebrated choreographer looked dashing in a pink and gold brocade kurta which Sanjana had especially designed for the award winning dancer. He rolled his sleeves up and teamed it with denims and brown shoes. The highlight of the show was when he waltzed in gracefully on the ramp and sat on the head ramp. The paparazzi and the crowd went berserk cheering him for his creativity as a showstopper at the Grand Finale show.
Excited Sanjana Jon said, "Sandip more than being an amazing dancer and entertainer was the perfect role model for the youth to look upto to fight violence specially since the German bakery incident had claimed his students life and the message I wanted to convey was brilliantly translated by his explicitly caring personality.
