Hyderabad: Bollywood badshah Amitabh Bachchan called on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the latter’s camp office in the city on Saturday. It was a courtesy call, sources said. Amitabh is in the city to receive the Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) National Award-2014, instituted by the Akkineni International Foundation. It is learnt that the Bollywood hero was excited to hear the proposal of Telangana government to set up a film city. KCR explained about the facilities to be provided at the proposed film city. Later in the day, KCR presented the ANR award to Amitabh at a function.
