Director Bejoy Nambiar’s ”Wazir” –The game of chess represents each chess piece to each character. Well when we quizzed the star cast which chess piece do they relate to and identify with in the movie- All were out for game but ultimately they gave away the secret as to which, "Chess Piece" did they represent …Here follows their answers –
Farhan Akhtar – I’ll be the paagal Haathi (demented Rook), no matter whatever happens around me, I continue to head straight. Ramming my head into walls many times. But that’s how people should be, in real life too. One should be honest and straight-forward to everyone around. Life would be much simpler that way.
Neil Nitin Mukesh – It’s easy. I am the Wazir (Bishop). I play the title role in the movie. The Bishop always moves diagonal in the game of chess. It is considered, by many, as not being straight forward. And that is quite true to my character. I am the villain, the anti-hero, the negative guy in the movie.
Aditi Rao Hydari – I will be the Begum (Queen), I guess. Without me the King will get exposed, become totally vulnerable.
Lastly, with Amitabh Bachchan left we surely feel he could be representing King[Chess piece]. Also with John Abraham we are sure there is goanna be a lot of spine chilling thrill, drama suspense and romance with Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao!!
