Varun is a varsity topper in Mister

Varun Tej’s new movie ‘Mister’ under the direction of Sreenu Vaitla was launched in Hyderabad on Thursday. Superstar Venkatesh sounded the clapboard for first shot, while noted producer K Shyam Prasad Reddy switched on the camera.

Speaking after the muhurat, Vaitla said, “Varun will be shown as a university topper in the film, a love story laced with action and entertainment. The first schedule will kick off in Spain, followed by outings in Brazil and Karnataka.”

Writer Gopimohan, who is collaborating with Vaitla for the 10th time, said that like the hero, heroines (Lavanya Tripathi and Hebah Patel) too will get equal importance in the film.

Also starring Nasser, Raghu Babu, Prithvi, Srinivas Reddy and Satyam Rajesh in supporting roles, the film, a joint venture between Nallamalupu Bujji and Tagore Madhu, has music by Mickey J Meyer.
