Lakshmi begins prep-up to play a judge

Lakshmi Manchu, who will be playing a judge in her as-yet-untitled next with Karthikeya Gopalakrishna, who earlier made films like ‘Sadhyam’ and ‘Vasool Raja’, is prepping up for the part.

According to a source, Lakshmi is overseeing her look in the film. “She is doing her own research for the film, from overseeing her look to meeting up with advocates to know the nuances of the profession,” the source said.

The source added, “There’s a reason why Lakshmi attains the position of a judge at a very young age in the film and the director is banking on this aspect to do the trick for him.”

To go on floors in Hyderabad shortly, the producers Mounika Chandrasekhar and Uma Lakshmi Narasimha are planning to wrap up the proceedings in a start-to-finish schedule.
