Steinfeld posted a photograph of herself and wrote: "Relax, pitches. I'm here. ‘Pitch Perfect'." In "Pitch Perfect 2", Steinfeld played Emily Junk, a freshman who eventually became a member of all-female group The Barden Bellas.
She will appear with other returning cast members such as Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hana Mae Lee, Shelley Regner, Kelley Jakle, Ester Dean, Brittany Snow and Anna Camp.
