The first look of ‘Aatagaallu,’ under the banner Friends Movie Creations, in which Nara Rohit and Jagapathi Babu play important roles was released at Hotel Green Park in Hyderabad on Friday.

Directed by Parachuri Murali, the film is produced jointly by Vasireddy Ravindranath, Vasireddy Shivaji Prasad, Makkena Ramu and Vadlapudi Jeetendra. Speaking on the occasion, producer Ravindranath said that the shooting of the film was over and the post-production works were going on at a fast pace. The dates of the audio and trailer release functions would be announced soon and the film would be released, he added.

In his speech, Director Murali said that after the film ‘Peda Babu’, he was working with Jagapathi Babu again. Initially, he was reluctant to act in this film, but on forceful persuasion, Babu agreed and told him to look out for another hero and he zeroed in on Nara Rohit. However, he also showed reluctance, but agreed later. He thanked the two heroes for agreeing to act in this film and the three producers, his friends.

Jagapathi Babu said that when Murali narrated the story to him, he told him that he would not be the right choice for the hero’s role. He said that he wouldn’t mind playing the villain but Murali remained adamant. He also convinced Nara Rohit to act in the film and so he agreed.

Nara Rohit said that though he never acted in a film based on this genre till now, Murali was able to convince him by playing some trick after narrating two stories. Several cast and crew were present on the occasion.
