Karthikeya, who shot into fame with ‘RX 100’ is starring in ‘Hippie,’ being produced by Kalaipuli Thanu under the banner of V Creations and helmed by T N Krishna. The shooting for the film began at the Ramoji film city in Hyderabad on Friday. Thanu sounded the clap for the first shot which was picturised on the portraits of gods and goddesses.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Karthikeya said that after the film ‘RX 100,’ he heard several scripts but did not get proper clarity in choosing the right script. However, when director T N Krishna came up with a beautiful script, he agreed to do it immediately. He said that he was immensely pleased to work under a banner which produced films like ‘Kabali’ for his second film. He expressed confidence that the film ‘Hippie’ would boost his career.
T N Krishna said that it was a straight film in Telugu for him and as the title indicates, it was a carefree film. After watching ‘RX 100,’ he said that he came to the conclusion that Karthikeya was the most suitable person to play the title role as his body language was apt. It was an engrossing entertainer, he added. Kalaipuli Thanu said that the film would definitely be liked by the Telugu audience.
