​Kara Johar Unveils Glimpses Of Kesari, Feat Akshay Kumar

Karan Johar unveils the “Glimpses of Kesari” part 1 and confirms that the trailer for the film will be out on 21st Feb.

Filmmaker and producer Karan Johar captioned the first promo, “Presenting the first one from the #GlimpsesOfKesari. The official teaser is 29 seconds long, which features Akshay Kumar preparing for final battle as the Afghan troops enter his territory. The actor is all dressed up in military uniform and ready with his sword to ward off the invaders.

The film is based on 21 Sikh soldiers of the 36th Sikhs (now the 4th battalion of the Sikh Regiment), who were stationed at an army post and were attacked by around 10,000 Afghans. The Sikhs, led by Havildar Ishar Singh, chose to fight to the death, in what is considered by some military historians as one of history's greatest last-stands.

The film also stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role and it is slated for 21st March 2019 release.
