Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra says he is excited to collaborate with Farhan again after Bhag Milka Bhag.

The filmmaker interacted with media at the sidelines of Itch summit on Thursday in Mumbai. Others present at the summit as speakers were, Sucharita Tyagi, Raveena Tandon, Vidya Balan and more.

When asked about his upcoming film Toofan and its prep, he said, "I am excited to be collaborating with Farhan again after Bhag Milka Bhag, in Toofan. The story is exciting and we always wanted to come back together and work so when we heard about this story, about Anjum Rajabali and immediately we thought we should do this film."

Farhan is a filmmaker, and producer himself, when asked if Rakeysh every had any makers disagreement with Farhan he said, "Filmmaking is a collaborative art if you have Shankar Ehssan Loy working on music you should leave it to them, we have Javed writing music for us in Toofan so I am going to leave it to him but we both listen to each other because it is a collective effort.

Just like that when you are working with big cameramen's and actors you always learn from them. It is a give an take and life and family works like that."

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's forthcoming film, ‘Mere Pyare Prime Minister’ is all set to release on 15th March, 2019.

Talking about the feedback received for the film's trailer he said, "People have loved the trailer a lot, not only in India but also in the world outside the country. It is a very challenging subject, the film talks about rape, the social evil, and the film also makes you feel for the characters and justice for it."

The film stars National award-winning actress Anjali Patil, Makarand Deshpande, Rasika Agashe, Sonia Albizuri, Atul Kulkarni and Nachiket Purnapatre.
