Vijayawada: A student of Loyola College attempted suicide for being warned by the Professor of his college. Vineel, the victim was tipped off by a professor of the college for allegedly not wearing the belt on his pant. The victim got demoralised with this incident and attempted suicide by cutting the nerve of his wrist, according to student sources. The students of Loyola College went on protest against the behaviour of the professor in front of the Machavaram police station.
The students said that the ill-treatments of the professors against very minute issues have been bothering them. Such incidents would punch the minds of the sensitive students strongly to go for such extreme steps like suicides, added the students. They demanded for the immediate measures of aversion of such incidents in the future.
