1.5 kg gold stolen at film shoot

Hyderabad: In a daring robbery, unidentified persons made away with 1.5 kg of gold ornaments from Ramanaidu Studios at Nanakramguda on Saturday.

The gold ornaments were meant for Anushka, the actress who was shooting for the film 'Rudramadevi' at the studio. The actress was supposed to put on the ornaments for a particular shot for the historic film which were said to be brought from Bengaluru.

Gunasekhar, the director and producer of the film, filed a complaint with the Raidurgam police station saying that the miscreants posing as spot boys and unit members fled with the booty. Police registered a case and took up the investigation.
