Lucknow minor girl buried alive in field

Lucknow: A minor girl from Lucknow was buried alive at field in Nevrajpur village in Sitapur district on Monday. The student of Kindergarten was fortunate enough to be saved by farmers.

The victim, identified as Tanu was buried by her relatives who thrashed and strangulated her. The couple thought she was dead after Tanu fell unconscious. To hide her body, the couple is believed to have buried her in the field.

Tanu, who later gained consciousness managed to stick out her head from the mud and called for help. Farmers working in the field, who heard her screams came to her rescue.

Tanu is being treated at a hospital and the police has registered a case against the relatives.
