4-year-old boy falls into sump, dies

Hyderabad: A four-year-old boy died after he fell into a water sump in Bilal Nagar under Kalapathar police station limits on Sunday morning.

According to police, the deceased, Md Aman, was playing outside his grandmother's house in Bilal Nagar. The family members and parents grew suspicious when he remained missing for almost an hour. They started searching for the boy in the neighbourhood and later found his body in the sump of an under-construction building.

A pall of gloom descended on the family following the death of Aman. Based on a complaint lodged by boy's father Md Shaker, a case has been registered and further investigation is on.
