Speeding tipper knocks down student
A 22-year-old engineering student died after a tipper knocked him down near Jubilee Hills Check Post late on Wednesday night. The police said that around 12.30 am, a tipper that was going towards KBR Park knocked down the bike on which T Gopikrishna and his friend Sairamulu, 23, were travelling.

The police said that around 12.30 am, a tipper that was going towards KBR Park knocked down the bike on which T Gopikrishna and his friend Sairamulu, 23, were travelling.
Gopikrishna was on his way home with Sairamulu on a motorcycle bearing No AP 28 AQ 9135. As they reached near Jubilee Hills Check Post, the tipper (AP 16TX 4206) rammed into their two wheeler from behind. Due to the impact, the two were thrown off the bike. Gopikrishna sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to Osmania Hospital where he was declared brought dead while Sairamulu, the pillion rider, reported to be undergoing treatment, Jubilee Hills Sub-Inspector S Guruswamy said. The driver of the tipper is absconding. A case has been registered under Section 304 A and 337 of the IPC.
