The Task Force (East) police on Wednesday arrested two persons on charges of looting cash from a businessman from Delhi on March 14. The accused identified as Syed Zameer, 24 and Kamatham Anji, 25 were arrested by the sleuths on Wednesday near Chappal Bazar.

“On March 14, a businessman from Delhi at Kachiguda lost his way. The accused on the pretext of helping him in finding his way took him to Dhobighat in Saidabad and attacked him. They then snatched away his wallet, Rs 500 and two cell phones,” said Additional DCP N Koti Reddy, adding that they were earlier involved in two criminal cases.
