Hyderabad: Five persons of the same family suffered burns in an explosion triggered by LPG leak at Chitkul in Patancheru area on Thursday. According to police, on Thursday morning when a member of the family lit the gas burner, the cylinder burst and the impact was such that the family members suffered burns. The injured were identified as Baburam and Madhavi, and their children Manasi, Sunny and Manoj.
Neighbours after hearing the blast called the Fire and Emergency Services personnel and the police. The injured were immediately shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. However, doctors attending to them said the condition of Baburam and Madhavi is critical. A case has been registered.
