A case has been registered under IPC sections 354 (A) 1, 2 (physical contact, advances involving unwelcome, explicit sexual overtures and a demand or request for sexual favours) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) against G Parisudda Babu, the hostel warden in the orphanage here for allegedly misbehaving and sexually harassing the minor girl, said Chilakalpudi police station Inspector B Janardhana Rao.
The victim who visited the accused's house on March 25, was allegedly sexually harassed by him, said the officer.
On Wednesday, the girl’s mother who came to know about the incident lodged a complaint with Chilakalpudi police. District Superintendent of Police G Vijayakumar said further investigation is in the process and that Babu is yet to be arrested.
