Robbers arrested
A seven-member gang of robbers was nabbed by the Hayathnagar police on Tuesday. Police recovered seven tolas of gold, 11 motorcycles, two laptops, three mobile phones and an auto-rickshaw from their possession. Police said Raj Kumar, Santosh, Gangadhar, Suraj, Suman, Ganesh and Pavan used to move around in colonies in auto-rickshaw, conduct recce during day-time and commit offences like chain snatchings,

Police recovered seven tolas of gold, 11 motorcycles, two laptops, three mobile phones and an auto-rickshaw from their possession. Police said Raj Kumar, Santosh, Gangadhar, Suraj, Suman, Ganesh and Pavan used to move around in colonies in auto-rickshaw, conduct recce during day-time and commit offences like chain snatchings, burglaries and vehicle lifting, CCS inspector P Subbaiah said. “The gang members committed 25 offences in the last three months under Meerpet, Hayathnagar and Medipally police station limits. All the members were arrested for similar offences in the past,” the cops said, adding that after release they started committing similar offences.
