9 month baby abducted from Gandhi Hospital
A nine-month-old baby was allegedly abducted from a couple in Gandhi Hospital on Saturday. A couple reportedly Ramesh and Renuka along with their baby daughter Kavya, who hail from Gollapally village of Medak district, came to Gandhi Hospital on Friday as Renuka was said to be suffering from thyroid disease.
Hyderabad: A nine-month-old baby was allegedly abducted from a couple in Gandhi Hospital on Saturday. A couple reportedly Ramesh and Renuka along with their baby daughter Kavya, who hail from Gollapally village of Medak district, came to Gandhi Hospital on Friday as Renuka was said to be suffering from thyroid disease.
Due to unavailability of doctors on Friday, Renuka was asked to come back on Saturday. Meanwhile, Ramesh who found it difficult to travel all the way back to Medak, stayed back in the hospital with his family. While the family members were sleeping in front of the casualty ward, a woman came and started to have conversation with Renuka.
“During the course of conversation when Renuka fell asleep, the lady allegedly took the baby from her mother and disappeared," the cops said based on Renuka’s complaint. Chilkalguda police have registered a case and have examined the CCTV footage from the hospital and launched a search to find the child.
