Youth arrested for patricide
A 25-year-old labourer was arrested at Shamshabad on the charge of patricide. According to police, Mohammed Ahmed strangled his father Mohammed Faheed (55) to death on August 9. He then stuffed his father’s body into a gunny bag and dumped it in an abandoned well.

Hyderabad: A 25-year-old labourer was arrested at Shamshabad on the charge of patricide. According to police, Mohammed Ahmed strangled his father Mohammed Faheed (55) to death on August 9. He then stuffed his father’s body into a gunny bag and dumped it in an abandoned well.
Ahmed had resorted to killing Faheem as the latter became addicted to alcohol and harassed his wife and the family members.
Faheem along with his wife and son migrated to the city from Mahabubnagar a year ago. They used to work as manual labourers.
