Speaking to the media, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dakshina Murthy said that the accused was identified as Bolishetti Srinivas alias Bannu Suresh Varma, a labourer and resident of NTR Colony of Sattupalli town.

Khammam: Two-Town Police nabbed a 15- year-old boy and recovered valuable ornaments from him during vehicle checking on Saturday morning at Khammam by-pass road. Speaking to the media, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dakshina Murthy said that the accused was identified as Bolishetti Srinivas alias Bannu Suresh Varma, a labourer and resident of NTR Colony of Sattupalli town.

The DSP said that the accused was released from Vijayawada Juvenile Home (children jail) in March this year and was living with his mother in Sattupalli. He started stealing valuable items from houses. He came to Khammam by lorry to sell the stolen items on Saturday. Observing the police inspecting the vehicles, he tried to escape.

The police officials caught him and after an inquiry, came to know that he stole valuables from various houses in Sattupalli and Khammam.The police recovered nearly 21 tolas of gold and eight tolas of silver ornaments from Suresh Varma and registered a case.
