Inter student attempts suicide after being denied Hall Ticket

An Intermediate student, Edla Pavani attempted suicide on Wednesday after being denied Hall Ticket for the annual exams. The girl failed to attend college for many days due to ill-health conditions which led to her shortage of attendance and thus the Social Welfare College in Mahabubabad refused to issue a hall ticket.

Even though Pavani attended her practical exams, she was not eligible to attend the annual exams because of her attendance percentage. Following the college officials denying her Hall Ticket for exams, Pavani attempted suicide at her uncle’s place at Vavilala Nellikuduru mandal of Warangal district. However, she was rescued in time and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
