Nizamabad: A gang of thieves created unrest in an NRI colony in the town on Friday when they broke open the doors and windows of the houses carrying dangerous weapons like knives, rods, sticks and ransacked them.
Women in the houses got scared and raised an alarm. One of the thieves was caught while he was running away and handed over to the police. He hails from Nanded district in Maharashtra. According to the police, there were eight members in the gang and seven of them were still at large.
