Two killed in road mishap
Two persons were killed and two others were injured when the two-wheelers, on which they were travelling, collided in Avarga village of Lokeshwaram mandal in the district on Sunday. Going into details, Gangadhar (32), hailing from Venkatapur village of Mudhol mandal in the district went to drop his daughter Divya in Sarangapur to appear for an examination in Gurukul school.

On their return journey, Gangadhar lost control and rammed against another motorcycle coming in the opposite direction. While Gangadhar and Saikrishna who was on the other motorcycle were killed on the spot, Divya and antoher pillion rider Dayakar sustained severe injuries. Local leader Bhujanga Rao admitted the injured in a local hospital. Lokeshwaram Assistant Sub-inspector of Police Dayanand registered a case and took up investigation.
