Two teachers killed in mishap

Two government school teachers were killed in a road accident at Mudugudisela thanda near Kuravi in the district on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as N Devendara Chary (45) of Hanamkonda and Bhukya Ramulu (42) of Tekulapally village of neighbouring Khammam district.
Warangal: Two government school teachers were killed in a road accident at Mudugudisela thanda near Kuravi in the district on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as N Devendara Chary (45) of Hanamkonda and Bhukya Ramulu (42) of Tekulapally village of neighbouring Khammam district.
They were working as social and Telugu teachers respectively at Thattupally Upper Primary School. The accident occurred when a lorry hit them while they were on their way to the school on a two-wheeler.
Kuravi police have seized the lorry and launched hunt for the lorry driver who fled the scene after the accident. Local Sub-Inspector Rama Krishna said negligent driving by the lorry driver caused the accident.
