Woman killed for gold chain
The deceased was identified as O Padmavathi a daily wage worker of Pattipaka area in Mahabubabad. According Mahabubabad CI Nandi Ram Naik the womanwho works at a house near Saibaba Temple in the town, was returning home during late night hours on Saturday.
Mahabubabad Warangal: A 70-year-old woman was killed in the hands of miscreants, who stolen a gold chain weighing about 2.5 tolas from her.

She was attacked with a brick by unknown persons, who later strangled her and escaped after taking her gold chain.
Some of the residents nearby found her on the road battling for life and rushed her to Mahabubabad Area Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.
