Fake Baba planned to kill Reddy, family
Fake baba B Shiva, who was arrested by the Banjara Hills police for cheating G Madhusudhan Reddy, the owner of ‘Lifestyle’ building, reportedly had plans to eliminate Reddy and his family. He had mixed datura seeds and sesame seeds in the rice (Prasadam) that was given to the businessman’s family.
Hyderabad: Fake baba B Shiva, who was arrested by the Banjara Hills police for cheating G Madhusudhan Reddy, the owner of ‘Lifestyle’ building, reportedly had plans to eliminate Reddy and his family. He had mixed datura seeds and sesame seeds in the rice (Prasadam) that was given to the businessman’s family.
The Banjara Hills police on Saturday produced accused Shiva, E Damodar and Srinivas Reddy in a local Court after recording their statements. Shiva had reportedly confessed that he wanted to kill G Madhusudhan Reddy, his wife and son Sandesh Reddy and escape with the booty.
While the crime was planned by Mohan Reddy, Shiva was the executor and the duo had planned to share the booty. Shiva told the police that Mohan took an advance of Rs 20,000 from him during his stay at Ohris hotel in Hyderabad. Shiva also said that Madhusudhan was convinced by the offer to multiply Rs 1.33 crore to Rs 10 crore.
After recording the statements of 17 persons, the police produced the accused in the court. The Court sent the accused to 14 days judicial custody to Chanchalguda prison. The police also requested the Court for five days custody of Shiva, a request which the Court adjourned for hearing on Monday.
