Andhra University, Vice-chancellor, Professor G S N Raju on Tuesday said that the University is contemplating to introduce e-learning methods and digital system with the help of Google apps.

Speaking after the launch of Google Apps for Education in Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, VC said that the traditional methods of black board teaching will be changed. Teaching methods would be effective by introducing power point presentations, e-learning and online methods. The University had already introduced online examination registration and students can register for examinations online, he added.
“University has associated with Google by deploying Google apps for Education. This would help Andhra University in creating an effective learning environment by using various products of Google,” said Professor Raju Country Lead, Education Go Digital Program, Google, Gagandeep Nagra said that Andhra University has chosen CloudReign Technologies as its implementation and training partner. CloudReign is a partner of Google and has a pool of Google Certified Trainer which brings lot of expertise to the table when it comes to large deployment and flawless migration of existing messaging solutions to Google Apps for Education.
Director of Computer Centre, Andhra University, Professor Vallikumari said that the University successfully implemented online examination registration. Students can register online and download hall tickets and the submission of assignments would be made easy through online, she added
