EAMCET Medical Counselling: New Rule Added. Early on Saturday, the medical counselling for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states has begun at 9 a.m. The authorities have introduced a new rule in the medical counselling this time.

Early on Saturday, the medical counselling for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states has begun at 9 a.m. The authorities have introduced a new rule in the medical counselling this time. Ravi Raju, the Vice Chancellor of NTR Health University, has said that the students who decide to cancel the seat allocated to them have to bear a fine of Rs 1L. He also said that the first 200 students taking admission in the medical colleges in either state will be given books free of cost.

It is evident that as many as 5 online counselling centres have been established in either state. JNTU in Hyderabad, Kaktiya University in Warangal, Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, SV University in Tirupathi and NTR University in Vijayawada are undertaking the counselling process. The counselling which began at 9 a.m. will continue till September 5. It is learnt that the states have decided that the seats will be allocated to the students hailing from the respective parent state, reportedly.
