Restaurant Review: Fusion 9 Hyderabad. If it has to be roof top dining, Fusion 9, Inorbit Mall is one of the very few places which tops the list. Fusion 9 is known in the dining scene of Hyderabad for its archetypal dining experiences through high quality fusion cuisines.

    Fusion 9 :

If it has to be roof top dining, Fusion 9, Inorbit Mall is one of the very few places which tops the list. Fusion 9 is known in the dining scene of Hyderabad for its archetypal dining experiences through high quality fusion cuisines.

    Ambiance:

Located on the 5th floor of Inorbit Mall, the view of the scenic Durgam Cheruvu lake is picturesque which is ideal for any special occasion or even a business dining. With contemporary yet casual themed interiors the area of the restaurant is very huge with a mix of both indoor and outdoor seating. While the outdoor seating looks spectacular in the evenings especially with cubana shacks but yeah barring the mosquitos.

    Food:

The Sunday brunch at Fusion 9 is an elaborate affair with Live Stir Fry counter, Salads, Cold Cuts, Pizzas, Live Pasta, Main and Deserts, predominantly serving multi cuisine, with Continental, Indian and Pan Asian delicacies.

With the sudden change of weather becoming breezy and slight rains, this was perfect setting for a lazy Sunday brunch. I started of with an AamPanna based mocktail which was quite refreshing to start with and then gradually moved on to try the other ones like the Blue Curacao.

From the starters, The Red Island fish was quite tasty and had a smoky flavor to it, the Chicken SheekhKabab was quite soft and succulent. The PanchporanPaneer was a one of a kind paneermade using panchphoran masala. The Chickpea Spinach Rolls were crispy and went well with the green mint chutney.

At first when I ordered the classic marghareit pizza it was not crispy at all and then it was corrected and in return a chicken &tripepper pizza was served which was good and not oversized that will fill you up.

There was various fusion of veg and non-veg salads ranging from Fattoush Salad, the classic greek salad, Korean Kimchee Salad, Citrus orange & Crispy green salad, Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Salad & Moroccan Roast Lamb & Chicken Salad. Anyone with a liking for salads will tell a similar story about the salads served here that they are extremely good with lot of variety in it.

From the Arabic Mezze, I tried the Pita with Hummus and Babaganoush along with few veggies added to it, which truly authentic in its flavor and texture. From the soup section, the Chicken Thyme soup was perfectly done which was quite thick and creamy. Yea…I liked it that way !

From the Live Stir fry counter, surprisingly I saw some unique sauces like sweet chilly, teriyaki and Malaysian and hence tried almost all the meats of Chicken, fish and prawns in each of these sauces. The Mains had interesting variety of Oriental, Mediterranean and indian to offer. The Thai Veg curry went perfectly well with Mexican Fired Rice which was actually too mild for me. Ignored the MurchMalaiAdraki as I was keen on trying the Mediterranean stuffed chicken with Garlic mash. The Mutton Biryani was nothing short but WOW too me, but unfortunately I was already too full to go on with another serving.

The Desert counter was what I was most excited about, With almost 15 – 20 different kinds of European Dessert on display, they looked colorful and inviting! With different variants of cheese cakes, brownies, chocolate tarts and pastries, one cannot deny but try all of them. I’ve always been a fan of The blue berry cheese cake from Deli 9 and in my opinion they have one of the best cheese cakes in town. The Indian Kaju Coconut Roll was too dry for my liking and instead would have loved to see some milk based variant in it.

    Service:

At times the service is tad slow due to the maddening rush with all the tables occupied and therefore the staff tends to miss out on the orders placed which happened to me twice. Chef Srikanth took note of the feedback given and ensured that the slightest constraints in terms of the food were rectified immediately.

Overall, Fusion 9 Sunday brunch takes you on a gastronomical journey of culinary delights at the most economical pricing. Go for it !
