Sonia for Guntur today

Hyderabad: Seemandhra region is now witnessing back-to-back rallies by top political leaders. A day after Narendra Modi’s whirwind tour of Guntur district, AICC president Sonia Gandhi will address a public meeting there on Friday. Former Ministers Kanna Lakshminarayana and Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad are overseeing the arrangements for the meeting.

Sonia Gandhi is also likely to campaign in support of party candidates in Visakhapatnam and neighbouring districts the same day. She would be visiting Guntur district after a gap of nearly seven years. Last time she went there was to launch the second phase of Indiramma housing programme at Tumuluru village in Tenali division on September 2, 2007.
