Cab driver attempts to rape software engineer

Hyderabad: An incident of rape attempt on a software engineer in Hyderabad became sensational. A software engineer hailing from Guntur district has been working in a software company at Hi-Tech city in Hyderabad. She has been residing at a hostel in Gowlidoddi.

On Friday night at 10.30 p.m, she was waiting for a bus after finishing shopping at Inordbit shopping mall. She got into a cab, when she was offered a lift in that cab. The car driver took her to an isolated place and attempted rape. She resisted and somehow escaped from that place. Later, she filed a case in Madhapur police station. Police started investigations.
