Vignan University’s B Tech entrance examination (V-SAT-2015) results were released by its Vice Chancellor Dr C Thangaraj at Guntur on Wednesday. As many as 31,000 candidates appeared for the examination. Counselling for qualified students will begin on May 15. Two new undergraduate courses in petroleum and biomedical engineering are also being introduced from the 2015-16 academic year.
Sai Junior College from Velivennu bagged the first seven ranks and also the tenth rank while the Tirumala College at Rajahmundry secured the eighth and ninth ranks, according to Dean of Admissions Dr R Venkata Nash. Results can be obtained from vignanuniversity.org, schools9.com and manabadi.com.
Dean IT services Prof. KV Krishna Kishore said that students who cannot attend V-SAT can also join in Vignan Unviersity through their Eamcet, IIT-JEE and Intermediate marks also. Merit students who registered good scores in EAMCET, IIT-JEE and Intermediate can avail scholarships.
