Siddhartha tops Inter results in Krishna dist

Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala had scored the highest pass percentage in the first and second year Intermediate results this year. College principal Dr T Vijayalakshmi said that the college scored the highest percentage of 76.02 among the aided colleges in Krishna district in the junior Intermediate.

In the senior Intermediate too, the college kept its record by scoring 82.50 per cent results. She said that out of the 22 aided colleges in the district, Siddhartha Women’s College stood first in Intermediate results this year. The college topped the list in sending the number of students for the public examination and getting the pass percentage as well.

In the first year, the college had sent 588 students for the examination of whom 447 passed registering a 76.02 pass percentage. In the second year intermediate too, the college had sent the highest number of 537 students of which 443 passed registering an 82.50 pass percentage. The principal congratulated the students and the teachers for the record results this year.

The college Intermediate sections principal S Vijayalakshmi said P Bhargavi of CEC, J Kalyani of MEC, V Srinaganjali of MPC and S Madhumitha of BiPC have scored highest marks in their respective sections in junior Intermediate. In the senior Inter, Sk Shahin of MEC, Sk Adhika Parveen of BiPC, T Deepika of MPC, T Sivasai Neelima of CEC and Y Madhuri of HEC have toppepd this year.
