Harinath Goud, member of Bathini Family, says that this year, 1.5 lakh people are expected to take the prasadam. Elaborate arrangements have been made by the district collector, police department, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), NGOs and other departments to ensure hassle-free distribution of the medicine.

Like every year, people from across India and even abroad will be administered the prasadam.Deputy Commissioner of Police VB Kamalasan Reddy informed that 1,500 police personnel have been deployed for safety and security of the public. “CCTV cameras are fixed at all important and focal points for safety measures besides special helpline counters, which have been opened for convenience of the people at all important centers,” he said.


Agarawal Seva Dal would be providing free breakfast, lunch and dinner to more than a lakh people. The organisation has also set up an emergency medical camp in collaboration with Yashoda Hospitals to take care of medical needs. Dr Y Venkat Raman, medical officer, GHMC, said that duty doctors will be available 24 hours and 50 toilets have been provided with a sanitation wing of more than 100 workers. To ensure quality food, food safety inspectors will be inspecting the vendors and shopkeepers at the venue.
