Annamacharya Bhavana Vahini conducted ‘Annama Swararchana on Saturday, a unique offering program in Annamayyapuram. This week the recital was conducted by Tanikella Abhikya. Abhikya started training in classical music at the age of five under the guidance of Kota Rajyalakshmi in Guntur and also learnt Carnatic music from KV Kishore in Vijayawada.

She specialised in Annamacharya Keertana’s from Sankeertana Ratna Pappu Sadasiva Sastry. She is currently preparing for vocal certificate course in Carnatic music and is now being guided by music director DV Mohana Krishna. She has now performed in over 300 concerts across the city. On Saturday Abhikya was accompanied by Saibaba on violin and Bala Murali Krishna on Tabla.
