Value education should be part of curriculum. A UGC-sponsored two-day national workshop was held at Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana (KBN) College in the city yesterday. Principal, P Krishna Murthy underlined the need to teach human values and professional ethics as part of the curriculum to make students socially responsible citizens.

The workshop featured notable speakers including Professor Pradeep Kumar, assistant professor, V Sankara Rao, Univeristy of Madras and N Usha, departmental head (English), Krishna University who spoke at the event about ‘Human Values and Professional Ethics - Essential for Individual and Society’.
College president, U Sambasiva Rao; secretary and correspondent, SVSM Rajith Kumar; vice-principal, V Narayana Rao; organising secretary, K Srinivasa Rao; co-convener N Sambasiva Rao and other faculty members were present.
