Nizamabad: District Collector Yogita Rana has directed the Revenue officials to create awareness among the people on the selection procedure of ‘double bedroom houses’ and take village-wise applications from the people from January 1 to 7. She conducted a review meeting on various government schemes with mandal level officials through video conference on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Yogita Rana said that the double bedroom scheme was the prestigious scheme of the State government and asked to select the beneficiaries without any irregularities.
She told the officials to announce the selection procedure and schedule in each and every village. At village level, the VROs would be taking the applications, at mandal level, the Tahsildar offices would be taking and RDO offices at district level. The Collector asked to give acknowledgement copy to the applicants.
Rana asked the Revenue officials to scrutinise the applicants’ list from January 8 to 20. She suggested finalising the lists from January 29 to 31 and conduct lucky draw on January 31. According to the draw, select the beneficiaries and allot the houses, she added.
The Revenue officials needed to identify the lands for double bedroom houses and send the details about those lands immediately to the District Collector office, Rana said.
