Raheja Mindspace extends its initiative in providing quality education for children belonging to very low income groups. Mindspace partners with the NGO, Teach for India and launches its CSR project ‘Teaching Tree’. The initiative begins with Hyderabad and Mumbai and will extend to other geographies over a period of time.

Mindspace has already positively influenced the lives of approximately 9200 children since April 2015 and remains committed to growing these numbers. Through the association, Teaching Tree will further build on the work undertaken by Teach for India in the domain of education.

Funds provided by Mindspace, will be used to train school teachers to deliver better education through improved teaching techniques, setting up of a library and exposure of the students to technology in specially selected schools catering to very poor children.

To ensure a larger corporate community participation, Mindspace has shortlisted a series of initiatives which call for clients to come forward in support of the cause. Some of these include: a book collection drive, an art festival where the children will display their work for sale, an old computer collection drive to aid the set-up of a computer lab in the schools, encouraging professionals to pledge personal time to teaching the children in their schools and so on. In amplifying reach and involvement of local populace, K Raheja Corp’s other business verticals like Crossword and Inorbit will also be activated for relevant initiatives.
