Speaking on the occasion VVS Laxman said, “Through their fantastic and phenomenal work Dr Vinay Kumar and team has achieved the remarkable figure. This way they transformed the lives of so many children, is a stupendous contribution to the society.”

The SRH team will spread the vision of Dr Vinay Kumar and build awareness about Cochlear Implants, which gives an opportunity to kids born with hearing impairment to lead a normal life.

Shikar Dawan said, “It was a beautiful feeling to see a child hear for the first time, after he witnessed a child's cochlear implant being switched on, at the programme.”

“Cochlear Implant Surgery empowers a hearing impaired child, helps him/her to evolve into a respectable citizen, besides enabling them to achieve their dreams and ambitions. It enables them to live life on their own terms,” says Dr EC Vinay Kumar.

Dr Hari Prasad, President, Apollo Hospitals; Dr EC Vinay Kumar, Head, Dept. of ENT, Apollo Health City & Secretary, SAHI and Neha, IAS, first Indian woman Cochlear Implantee IAS officer were also present on the occassion.
