Asifabad: There were no movements of Maoists in Komaram Bheem district and police have become close to the people, observed DIG Warangal Range Nagi Reddy here on Thursday. He inspected the premises of the SP office here.
Later addressing a review meeting, he said the department was taking various steps to ensure welfare of the people. The DIG stated that since the new district is small, the police would strive to check crimes. ‘Every case will be examined closely to ensure justice to the people involved,’ Reddy assured the officials.
He said one each Additional SP and OSD, two DSPs, five CIs and 17 police stations were functioning in the district.
